Yellow (Tier 4) is the least restrictive among the 4 color codes. This indicates minimal spread of COVID-19, and almost all types of business establishments are allowed to be operational with some modification. Physical distancing and wearing of face masks are mandatory.

Orange (Tier 3) means there is a moderate spread of the virus with 1-4 new positive cases, while Red (Tier 2) refers to a substantial spread with at least 4-7 new positive cases. Similar to Tier 4, most business establishments are still operational with modifications under these two tiers, and proper COVID-19 protocols must be strictly observed at all times.

Purple (Tier 1) is the highest type of restriction wherein there is a widespread case of the virus, showcasing about more than 7 new positive cases or about 8% higher than the minimum level it started.

If the numbers and statistics of the cases continue to spike up, there might be a need for a regional stay-at-home order, which will suspend most types of outdoor activities as well as business operations.
